Baggage Policy

Economy Class

Economy Class Services
  • For all planes, regular Economy Class passengers get special meals and personal touch-screen TVs. Maximum flights allow their passengers to use the internet as well.
  • Premium Economy passengers enjoy extra benefits, like extra storage space, a bigger touch-screen TV, and an exclusive menu just for them.
Economy Seats
  • Passengers get good personal space in Economy Class seats. The Economy class has three types- Standard, Premium, and Premium in a separate cabin.
  • Backrest cushions and bolstered sides are provided on the A350-900 and 777-300 to make seats more comfortable.
  • Economy seats offer the 4-way adjustable sculpted headrest and comfortable neck support to comfort your head while you are sleeping.
  • Economy passengers get the option to choose Extra Legroom Seats and Forward Zone Seats with the minimum distance to the doors on the A330, A380, and 777-300ER.
  • On all planes, Premium Economy Class seats can recline for extra comfort. These seats are also wider up to 19.5 inches. The seats are designed with a calf-rest and footrest right there. Additionally, travelers get an adjustable reading lamp and two USB ports in their seats.

Business Class

  • Business Class is available on all flights but with different facilities and services depending on the aircraft type.
Business Class Services
  • On each flight, Business Class passengers enjoy special menus designed by well-known chefs from our International Culinary Panel.
  • They can dine as if they are in a restaurant with full table service and order wines to match their dishes.

Business Class Seats
  • Business Class seats are designed to be super comfy on the A350-900 and 777-300 planes. These are made from Scottish leather that's been handcrafted and diamond-stitched. You can convert them into a 78-inch bed. Linen, a duvet, and pillows are also available.
  • All Business Class passengers can easily get to the aisle, and sit in one of the widest leather seats in their class on the A380, 777-300ER, and 777-200 planes. These seats are fully reclaimable.
  • The new Airbus A380 is a special kind of Business Class with unique-shaped seats in hand-stitched full-grain leather.
  • On the A330, 777-300, and 777-200 planes, regional Business Class passengers can enjoy shell-shaped seats that fully recline with a control panel right there in the seats.

First Class

  • The Boeing 777–300ER and refitted Boeing 777–300 aircraft, and some aircraft private Suites offer the luxurious First Class option.
First Class Services
  • Till 3 in the morning, you can have breakfast in bed.

First Class Seating
  • The size of the seats, 35 inches wide makes them roomy. All the seats are covered with the best full-grain leather with mahogany flourishes. You can turn them into a comfy 80 inches bed, and also get linen, a duvet, and pillows.
  • On the Airbus A380–800 plane, you get special Suites with complete personal space. A fancy French yacht designer named Jean-Jacques Coste has beautifully designed them. The suites offer individual cabins with sliding doors and window blinds. It's roomy enough to separate your bed from your seat. You can also enjoy mouth-watering meals on bone china by Wedgwood and the menus are created by famous chefs.

  • Passengers can earn and use miles with Singapore Airlines and its partners. Some partners are Star Alliance Airlines, Air India, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Australia, SilkAir, and many hotels and car rental companies.
  • KrisFlyer has different levels, like KrisFlyer, KrisFlyer Elite Silver, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold. These are similar to Star Alliance Silver and Gold.
  • If a traveler spends at least S$25,000 a year on certain Singapore Airlines flights, he or she can join the Priority Passenger Service (PPS) program.
  • You can earn PPS Value when you fly in Singapore Airlines Suites, First Class, or Business Class on Singapore Airlines, or Business Class on SilkAir. PPS is divided into three parts- the PPS Club, Solitaire PPS Club, and Solitaire PPS Club Life.

  • Singapore Airlines is a member of Star Alliance, which is a global airline network of 27 airlines, including United Airlines, Lufthansa Thai Airways International, Air Canada, and Scandinavian Airlines.
