- Passengers are allowed to make unlimited changes to their travel dates without any extra cost.
- They can cancel their ticket, but the rules depend on the fare conditions.
- If your fare is refundable, you can get a refund.
- Only the taxes will be refunded for non-refundable fares.
- It is important to cancel your ticket within the deadline mentioned on your ticket.
- You need to make changes before June 30, and it should be within one year from when you get your ticket.
- If it is after June 30, you can make a single change for free.
- You can make these changes either online through Manage Booking or by contacting the travel agent where you bought your ticket. Just be aware that the travel agent might charge a fee.
- Note:
- If you buy a ticket to/from the United States at least seven days before your flight's departure, you can cancel it within 24 hours of booking, but you must do this through a local Singapore Airlines office.
- If Singapore Airlines cancels your flight, you have the right to ask for a refund for the part of the ticket you did not use.
- If you cannot take your Singapore Airlines flight because of international border closures, you can cancel your flight and request a refund.
- Passengers can cancel their flights without any fees if:
- They book tickets to or from the United States.
- They cancel within 24 hours of booking.
- They do the cancellation through a local Singapore Airlines office.
- Also, they made the reservation at least one week before the flight's departure.
- Refunds will be given back to the credit/debit card you used to buy your ticket.
- If a Singapore Airlines flight gets canceled, passengers have three choices:

Important Information
- Fees paid for seat selection and additional baggage will be refunded, not converted into Flight Credits.
- If your flight booking includes multiple passengers, each person can choose between Flight Credits or a refund.
- You cannot keep the unused part as Flight Credits if you have an award ticket booked with KrisFlyer Miles.
- The refund will be returned to your KrisFlyer Miles account, but you can get a refund for your KrisFlyer Miles and taxes.
- If you used Mix Miles with Cash in the KrisFlyer Program, you can refund your KrisFlyer Miles along with cash and taxes.
- Passengers can get a refund for their HighFlyer points, cash, and taxes if they use Mix Points with Cash in the HighFlyer Program.
- They cannot keep part of your ticket as Flight Credit and ask for the rest in cash.
- Bonus Flight Credits will be given for your first rebooked flight unless it is a child or infant fare or the ticket is partially unused.
- You get Bonus Flight Credits on your first rebooked flight in all other cases.
- Flight Credits can be used for up to two flight bookings on Singapore Airlines, and the last part of the flight must be used by June 30.
- If your Flight Credits, including Bonus Flight Credits, cover the cost of your first rebooked flight, they will be deducted from the ticket price.
- Any remaining Flight Credits, known as Residual Flight Credits, can be used for your second rebooked flight.
- If your Flight Credits do not fully cover the cost of your rebooked flight, you can pay the balance with cash or a credit/debit card.
- You cannot transfer Flight Credits and Bonus Flight Credits to others.
- Bonus Flight Credits cannot be turned into cash. Also, you must use them before they expire.
- Bonus Flight Credits vary by cabin class
- Economy Class - SGD 75
- Premium Economy Class - SGD 100
- Business Class - SGD 200
- First/Suites - SGD 500.

Economy Class Cancellation Fees
- Non-refundable fares, like Economy Super Saver fares, can't be canceled.
- For refundable fares, you can cancel them before departure, but there's a fee of approximately USD 250.
- If you miss your flight (No-Show), there's a fee of about USD 300.
Premium Economy Cancellation Fees
- You can cancel the ticket before the flight, but there's a fee of approximately USD 200.
- If you don't show up for your flight, there's also a fee of about USD 200.
Business Class Cancellation Fees
- D Class Business Saver fares have a cancellation fee of approximately USD 300.
- If you miss your flight (No-Show), there's a fee of around USD 200.
- If you need to cancel your Singapore Airlines ticket, you can do it over the phone or online. If you choose to cancel by phone, call the nearest Singapore Airlines office.
Online Cancellation of Singapore Airlines tickets
- Open SingaporeAir.com.
- Click on the "Manage Booking" tab.
- You can cancel either by entering your 6-character booking reference and last/family name or by selecting your 13-digit e-ticket number and last/family name.
- Click on the "Manage Booking" button.
- Then, click on the "Cancel booking" link.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to cancel your booking.
- The refund will be automatically credited to the debit/credit card you used to purchase your ticket if you are eligible for a refund.
Online Request a Refund
- Passengers can apply for a refund using the Assistance Request Form if they bought their ticket directly from Singapore Airlines (on their website, mobile app, ticket office, or call center), or if their flight got canceled.
- They can use this form even if they paid for their ticket (either partly or fully) with their KrisFlyer Miles.
- But, if you booked your ticket through a partner airline or a travel agency, you need to contact them directly to request a refund.
- You can use your Flight Credit to rebook your flight in two ways:

- Visit SingaporeAir.com.
- Search for a flight by entering your travel details.
- Choose a suitable flight.
- Retrieve your Flight Credits by entering the booking reference and last name linked to the affected flight.
- Follow the instructions to rebook the flight and pay using your Flight Credits.
Rebook Online by Filling Out the Assistance Request Form
- Go to the Assistance Request Form page.
- Select the "Change or rebook my flight" option.
- Complete the form.
- Click the "Submit" button.
- Singapore Airlines will reach out to you using the email address or phone number you provided in the form.
You can use your Flight Credits to:
- Change your travel date at any time until June 30.
- Change your destination when rebooking.
- Choose a more flexible fare for your new flight.
- Upgrade your seat or cabin class.
- Use any leftover Flight Credits for your second flight.
Check if Tickets Qualify for a Flight Credit
- If your ticket was issued on or before March 15, 2022, and your original travel date was up to March 31, 2023, you can turn your ticket into a Travel Credit.
- When you do this, the unused value of your ticket will become a Flight Credit that you can use to book a new trip until June 30.
- This rule is for all tickets you bought directly from Singapore Airlines or its travel agents.
- This rule does not cover the tickets bought with:
- KrisFlyer Miles
- HighFlyer Points
- child and infant fares
- partially used tickets
Check Singapore Airlines Flight Credit Balance
- Follow the steps to find out your Flight Credit balance (including Bonus Flight Credits):
- Visit Manage Booking.
- Enter the booking reference number and last name for the affected flight.
- Check the box that says "Check flight credit balance."
Important to note:
- Your Flight Credits represent the value of the part of your flight ticket you have not used, along with the taxes.
- However, it does not include fees for seat selection, extra baggage, or the Singapore Stopover Holiday package. Those fees will go back to your original payment method.
- Also, it does not cover travel insurance fees (for refunds, reach out to AIG), offline booking fees, or credit card fees (these can vary depending on your country).
Multiple flight bookings with Flight Credits:
- You cannot split your Flight Credits to make multiple bookings.
- You must use the credits to fully book one flight first.
- Any remaining credits can be used for a second booking.
