- Economy Flexi Saver Fares:
- If your ticket is completely unused, you can cancel it for GBP 125. However, there are some exceptions:
- GBP 150 for tickets with fare types ending in -LEGBSE, -YOGB1E, -YAGB1E.
- GBP 200 for tickets with fare types ending in -EGBRE, -LEGBLE, -LEGB1B, -LEGB1D, -RX7GBE.
- USD 250 for tickets with fare types ending in -RY7399.
- If your ticket is partially used, you can still cancel it for GBP 125, with similar exceptions as above.
- For fare types ending in -RY7399, the cancellation fee is USD 250, whether the ticket is fully or partially unused.
- Economy Flexi Fares:
- You can cancel these fares for USD 100 or its equivalent, but you must do it at least 24 hours before departure.
- Economy Full Flexi Fares:
- You can cancel these fares before departure for THB 2,000.
- Royal Silk Flexi Fares:
- From Denmark, you can cancel for DKK 2,500. However, there are exceptions:

- From Norway, you can cancel for NOK 3,500, but there are exceptions:

- Involuntary Refunds:
- If Thai Airways cancels your flight, messes up the schedule, does not stop at your destination, or causes you to miss a connecting flight with a confirmed reservation:
- You get a refund of the total fare paid if you have not used any part of your ticket.
- If you have used some of your tickets, you get the difference between what you paid and the portion you used.
- Voluntary Refunds:
- If you decide to cancel your flight:
- You get a refund of the total fare paid minus the cancellation fee and service charges if you have not used any part of your ticket.

- Lost Ticket Refunds:
- If you lose your ticket and can prove it to Thai Airways:
- You can get a refund if no part of the lost ticket has been used, refunded, or replaced, except if it was lost due to Thai Airways' negligence.
- You agree to repay Thai Airways if there's fraud by a third party unless it's Thai Airways' fault.
- If Thai Airways or its agent loses your ticket, they take responsibility for the loss.
- How to Apply for a Refund:
- Contact any Thai Airways ticketing office in a city to request a refund.
- Refund Method:
- Refunds will be credited to the credit or debit card you used for buying the ticket. Some refund fees may apply.
- For debit cards, it might take longer, depending on your bank.
- Time Limit for Refundable E-Tickets:
- If you have a refundable e-ticket, you need to apply for a refund within 90 days of the ticket expiring.
- Rights for Delayed or Cancelled Flights:
- If your flight from an EU airport (or Norway, Switzerland, or Iceland) is delayed or canceled due to Thai Airways' fault (not extraordinary circumstances), you have the right to:
- Get another flight at no extra cost, or
- Get a refund and compensation.
- Amount of Compensation:
- The compensation amount depends on how far you were supposed to fly:
- You can get €250 if the flight distance is within 1,500 km.
- If the flight distance is between 1,500 and 3,500 km, you can get €400.
- For intra-community flights over 1,500 km, you can also get €400.
- If the flight is more than 3,500 km, you can get €600.
- Compensation Reduction:
- Your compensation is halved (cut by 50%) if you are offered another flight, and it:
- Lands within 2 hours for flights up to 1,500 km.
- Lands within 3 hours for flights between 1,500 and 3,500 km.
- Lands within 3 hours for intra-community flights over 1,500 km.
- Lands within 4 hours for all other flights.
- Exceptions - No Compensation:
- Passengers do not get compensation if:
- Their flight was canceled due to extraordinary circumstances that Thai Airways couldn't control, like severe weather, airport strikes, security concerns, etc.
- Thai Airways informed them about the cancellation:
- At least 14 days before their original flight's scheduled departure.
- 14 to 7 days before their original flight if the alternative flight departs within 2 hours of their original flight's scheduled departure and arrives at their destination within 4 hours of their original flight's scheduled landing time.
- Less than seven days before their original flight's scheduled departure and the alternative flight departs within an hour before their original flight's scheduled departure and lands at their destination less than two hours after their original flight's scheduled landing time.
- If Passengers Get Denied Boarding:
- If passengers cannot board their flight (whether it is their choice or not) because there are too many passengers (overbooking), they get some rights:
- Passengers get care, like meals and a place to stay, depending on how long you have to wait.
- They also get help with transfers and free communication (like phone calls or emails).
- Passengers can either take the next available flight to their destination under similar conditions (but they have to pay for meals, a place to stay, and transfers) or choose a refund and compensation.
- The compensation amount depends on how far they were supposed to fly:
- If it is a short flight, up to 1,500 km, you can get €250.
- For flights between 1,500 and 3,500 km, it's €400.
- If it is an intra-community flight over 1,500 km, it's also €400.
- For long flights over 3,500 km, you can get €600.
- Reduction in Compensation:
- Your compensation for being denied boarding gets reduced by half if you are given an alternative flight that is scheduled to land within:
