- For intra-community flights over 1,500km and other flights between 1,500km and 3,500km, the replacement flight can arrive within 3 hours without compensation.

- If you miss your flight due to TAP Portugal's fault:
- You can get compensation in cash, bank transfers, checks, or travel vouchers. It could be €250, €400, or €600.

- Compensation Reduction:
- Your compensation may be halved if your substitute flight arrives:
- Within 2 hours of the original flight's schedule for flights up to 1,500km.

- Within 4 hours for flights not fitting these categories.
- If you are denied boarding in the United States:
- If your substitute flight arrives within an hour of your original flight, you do not get cash compensation or vouchers.
- If the difference is between 1 and 4 hours, you get compensation equal to twice your one-way fare, up to a maximum of $775 in cash. You can also choose to receive twice your one-way fare plus an extra $75 in vouchers.
- If your substitute flight arrives more than 4 hours later, you get compensation equal to four times your one-way fare, up to a maximum of $1,550 in cash. Also, you can choose to receive four times your one-way fare plus an extra $75 in vouchers.
- If you are denied boarding in Canada, you can get compensation either in cash or vouchers, depending on the delay:
- If your substitute flight arrives up to 6 hours later, you can receive up to CAD 900 in cash or CAD 1,575 in vouchers.
