- Compensation for Flight Cancellation:

- Reduction in Compensation
- If Philippine Airlines gives you a different flight that gets you to your destination 2 to 4 hours later, your compensation will be cut by 50%.
- If your Philippine Airlines flight from a European Union airport is delayed by 3 hours or more, and it is not due to exceptional circumstances, you can get compensation ranging from EUR 250 to EUR 600, depending on the distance.
- If it is less than 1,500 km, you get EUR 250.
- If it is more than 1,500 km within the EU or between 1,500 and 3,500 km for other flights, you receive EUR 400.
- If it is more than 3,500 km, you're entitled to EUR 600.
- Note: You will not get compensation if the delay is because of exceptional situations, like:
- Severe weather

- You can qualify for delayed flight compensation in these situations:
- If your EU departure flight arrives at your destination 3 hours or more late, and it is not due to exceptional circumstances.
- If passengers miss their connecting flights within the EU or outside of it, which start from an EU airport, and they arrive at their final destination 3 hours or more late.
- If you accept an alternative flight to a different airport and it arrives late. You also get transportation between the alternative airport and the original airport on your original ticket.
