Cancel a Kenya Airways Flight Online

  • Click on Manage Booking
  • Provide Information, like your last name, booking reference number, or E-ticket number.
  • Click on "Continue."
  • Choose Cancel and Refund

  • Phone Reservations: If they cancel via phone reservations, the fee also ranges from USD 100 to USD 300, depending on their fare type and route.
  • Phone Reservations through a Travel Agent: If you cancel through phone reservations with the assistance of a travel agent, the fee falls within the USD 100 to USD 300 range, based on your fare type and route.
  • Award Tickets: If your ticket is an Award Ticket, the cancellation fee is a flat USD 50.

Kenya Airways Flight Cancellation Compensation

  • European Union Departure: If your Kenya Airways flight departs from an airport in the European Union and gets canceled less than 14 days before your travel date, and the cancellation was within the airline's control, you have these rights:
  •  You can choose a replacement flight to your destination at no extra cost.
  • You can also receive compensation of up to EUR 600.
  • Exceptions:
  • Compensation is specifically for the time lost due to the delay, depending on the distance and the length of the delay.
  • The EUR 600 compensation decreases in steps, based on the distance and delay duration.
  • You will not get compensation if you are offered a replacement flight that arrives at a similar time to your original flight.

Kenya Airways Refund Policy

  • Refund Payee: Kenya Airways refunds to the person whose name is on the ticket or the person who paid for it, with proof of payment.

  • Credit/Debit Card Refunds: For card purchases, passengers get refunds within 14 business days. But your bank might take more time to credit your account.
  • Ticket Rules Apply: All refunds follow the rules on your ticket, including penalties and fees.
  • Travel Voucher: Kenya Airways might issue a travel voucher for refunds, which could take up to 21 days due to high processing volumes.
