Caribbean Airlines Carry-on luggage

  • You can bring one carry-on bag and one personal item with you on the plane.
  • For checked baggage, the number of free checked bags depends on your travel route (domestic or international) and the type of fare you buy (Economy Non-Flexible, Economy Semi-Flexible, Economy Flexible, or Business Class).
  • As a Caribbean Airlines passenger, you can carry the following items on board as cabin baggage:
  • One carry-on bag.
  • One personal item, like a handbag, backpack, briefcase, or laptop bag.
  • You can bring one carry-on bag and one personal item, such as a handbag, backpack, briefcase, or laptop bag on all Caribbean Airlines flights.

Caribbean Airlines Lap Infants baggage allowance

  • If you are traveling with a lap infant (a child under 2 years old), you can bring a collapsible stroller, an infant-carrying basket, or an infant car seat on board. Make sure there is space available in the cabin for the items you carry. Also, lap infants are permitted to have one carry-on bag weighing up to 10 kilograms.

Caribbean Airlines Baggage Policy for Special Needs

  • If you need a wheelchair, crutches, walkers, or special equipment due to a disability, you can bring these mobility aids on board along with your carry-on baggage, as long as there is enough space available.

Liquids & Gels

  • You can bring non-flammable liquids or gels in containers that are 100ml (3.4 ounces) or smaller in your carry-on baggage. Remember the containers must also not be larger than 100ml.

Carrying Powders in Your Carry-on

  • Powder-like substances that are 12 ounces (350 ml) or larger are not allowed in your carry-on bag, except for:
  • Medically prescribed powder-like substances with a prescription.
  • Baby formula for infants or toddlers traveling with their parents or guardians.
  • Human remains.
  • For these exceptions, powders 12 ounces (350 ml) or larger can be in your carry-on bag if they have not been changed. Make sure the contents match the container's description.
  • Note:
  • Any powder-like stuff that is allowed should go in your checked bag and not in your carry-on.
  • It will be kept in the plane's storage area under the cabin.

  • Bags that exceed 32kg or 292cm in total dimensions will not be accepted as checked baggage.

  • For Economy Flexible fares:
  • Your 1st checked bag is free.
  • If you have a 2nd bag, it costs TTD 3.00 per kilogram.
  • The same TTD 3.00 per kilogram fee applies to your 3rd and 4th bags.
  • If any of your bags are overweight, there is a fee of TTD 3.00 per kilogram.

Caribbean Airlines lost baggage and damaged items

  • If your baggage is lost or damaged while traveling with Caribbean Airlines, let's check what can be done:
  • Contact an airline representative at the airport before leaving. They will create a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) for you.
  • If you have already left the airport, submit a written claim within seven days of receiving your baggage.
  • Provide the following when filing a baggage claim:

  • Completed Claim Form
  • Boarding Pass Stubs
  • Bag Tags
  • Clear copies of receipts, invoices, and proofs of purchase.
  • If the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) inspects your bag and you believe the damage or loss occurred during the inspection, contact TSA at 866-289-9673 or visit tsa.gov. You can also submit your baggage claim online.
