  • Asiana Airlines started in 1988, and its headquarters is in Asiana Town, Seoul, South Korea. The main hub is at Gimpo International Airport for domestic flights and another hub is at Incheon International Airport for international ones. The airline is the second-largest major airline in South Korea after Korean Air. It flies to 14 cities within South Korea and 90 international destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.
  • Asiana Airlines owns Air Seoul, which is their low-budget airline. The Airline is also the biggest shareholder in Air Busan, a low-cost and regional carrier. They co-own it in a partnership with Busan Metropolitan City.

Traveling with Pets

  • Travelers can bring dogs, cats, and pet birds on Asiana Airlines flights.
  • In the cabin, they can have one pet weighing up to 7 kg (including the carrier). The pet carrier's combined size of three sides must be up to 115 cm.
  • In the hold, you can have pets weighing up to 45 kg (including the cage). The cage's total size of three sides must be up to 285 cm. 
  • Service dogs are allowed in the cabin.
  • Emotional support/psychiatric service dogs are only allowed on flights to or from the U.S.

Unaccompanied Minors

  • Asiana Airlines permits kids aged 5 to 12 on domestic flights and kids aged 5 to 11 on international flights to travel alone.
  • They need a guardian when leaving and arriving at the airport.
  • You will have to fill out forms and provide the right documents before they can fly with Asiana Airlines.
